About Us
It is the objective of LS Youth Baseball to create an environment that is safe, provides an opportunity for all players, from T-Ball through the Majors, to develop skills and game knowledge, allows all players to experience the success they are capable of achieving, and teaches the life-long lessons of sportsmanship, teamwork, fair play, and respect for authority. In addition, it is the objective of the Summer All-Star and intermediate summer programs to offer the players who have the desire and ability to excel in baseball an opportunity to experience the best coaching available and maximize their potential, in a competitive, inter-town environment. Furthermore, it is the objective of the Fall baseball program to provide an additional opportunity for players to develop skills in a less competitive environment. Finally, it is the objective of LS Youth Baseball to work synergistically with the older playing levels to ensure a smooth transition from one program to the other and offer the highest level of quality throughout the entire Sudbury baseball program. It is the responsibility of all LS Youth Baseball officials, including the board of directors, commissioners, managers, coaches, and umpires, to understand and fulfill these objectives.
